Local government in Surrey is changing. From 1 April 2027 we will, alongside Surrey County Council and four other district and borough councils, be replaced by a new unitary authority called East Surrey Council. All housing and homelessness services in Mole Valley will continue as normal throughout this change. This includes housing options, the housing register and allocations; private rented sector schemes and homelessness services.

While the council name and brand will change, services you receive will not be affected. You do not need to take any action.
