Rough Sleeping

If you are sleeping rough and have nowhere to stay, our Housing Options team will be able to advise you on:

  • finding somewhere to sleep for the night
  • assisting you to look for longer term accommodation
  • connecting you with local support services

Call 01306 885001 and ask to speak to a Housing Options Officer.

Between 5pm and 8.30am and weekends, call our out of hours number: 0300 123 7718.

You can also use StreetLink to report your location and your request for help will be submitted to the East Surrey Outreach Service.

The service will come out to meet and assist you and put you in touch with essential services, including our Housing Options team.

Do you know someone who is sleeping rough?

If you’re concerned about someone sleeping rough, get in touch so that we can connect them to local support and services they need.

You can report the exact location of rough sleepers using StreetLink.

East Surrey Outreach Service

The East Surrey Outreach Service provides help and support to those rough sleeping and those at risk of rough sleeping.

They can offer one-to-one support to help you find a suitable place to live and assist you in connecting with other support agencies.

They will also seek to reconnect people with the areas where they have a local connection.
