Following several years teaching in East London schools, Clayton relocated to Dorking.  He now works for a charity foundation in West Sussex which takes youths aged between 16 and 21 and offers them an opportunity to gain a trade, an apprenticeship and NVQ qualifications.  The young people are referred by the probation service, social services and other organisations that help people from difficult backgrounds.

He has a strong social conscience and wants to help in his local community by supporting the needs and views of local people and protecting the beautiful landscape.
