Household Support Fund

Funding has been allocated via the Department of Work and Pensions to help those families struggling financially in Surrey. This funding will no longer be available from 31 March 2026. This branch of funding will be replaced by the Crisis & Resilience Fund from the 1 April 2026.

Mole Valley District Council does not have a direct application process for the Household Support Fund. Instead, we work with various charities and community organisations to distribute the funds because those organisations work with residents in the areas that the fund was set up for. We work with:

• Mid Surrey Community Fridges
• Foodbanks Dorking, Epsom & Ewell
• BESOMs – Dorking, Ashtead
• and some other smaller organisations including The Meeting Room and East Surrey Domestic Abuse Service.

Please do approach the organisations above if you need support with food, fuel and wider essentials to take advantage of this fund.

Individuals can also make applications to Surrey Crisis Fund who can help those struggling with cost of living or see Financial Help and Support for other assistance.
