Future Mole Valley  (Local Plan 2020-2037)

On Monday 14 February 2022, we submitted the Mole Valley Local Plan 2020-37 to the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities for independent examination. Any information and updates regarding the independent examination process will be published on the Future Mole Valley website.

Main Modifications & Council Note 35 Consultation – 1 March to 23 April 2024

The Government-appointed Planning Inspector examining our emerging new Local Plan has recommended a number of Main (material) Modifications to the Local Plan to make the plan ‘sound’.

The next – and final – step in our Plan’s Examination sees us proceed to the ‘Main Modifications consultation’ over a seven-week period. More information on this consultation, and how you can get involved and submit your views, can be found on the Future Mole Valley website.
