Cllr Gerry Sevenoaks
Ward: Ashtead Park
Gerry has lived with his family in Ashtead for over 22 years.
He was born in Datchet, a village outside Windsor, where he attended Grammar School. After graduating from Brunel University, he worked for Turner & Newell, a large American engineering company. He then joined a leading Management Consultancy Firm undertaking projects in both the private and public sectors including EU sponsored projects in Eastern Europe.
Gerry has also undertaken a number of senior roles in Local Government. He has, in the past, served as a Councillor on Elmbridge B.C.
Gerry is an active member of several community groups in the local area including Ashtead Arts Society, Ashtead Rotary and the Leatherhead Theatre. He is committed to supporting Ashtead’s voluntary organisations, businesses and shops.
Gerry helps run History Groups, supports local Arts and music, is a keen sports fan and is a season ticket holder at Brentford FC.
