The main focus of the evening will be a presentation from Mike Rangecroft from Independent Housing Solutions Ltd on the Renters’ Rights Bill which is currently progressing through Parliament.  Mike has presented to the forum in the past and will be able to give an impartial synopsis of the Bill and the implications on both private landlords and tenants.

We want to keep landlords informed and updated on proposed changes with the Renters’ Rights Bill and Awaab’s law and how we are working to reassure landlords.

Housing Services Manager Kirsty Jones will chair the event and will provide a summary of the work of the Housing Team in relation to the Council’s private rented scheme over the past 12 months.  She will also be launching our new package of offers to landlords and lettings agents who work with the scheme.
