Planning application fees

Planning fees in England are set nationally but are now subject to annual inflation-linked adjustments rounded to the nearest £1. The CPI for September 2025 was 3.8%.

Ownership of Land

If you do not own the site, or your proposed development will encroach on to or over land you do not own, you must complete Certificate B (included in the application form).

Notice No.1 should also be completed and given to the owner of the site to inform them of the application.

Notice No. 2 is for publication in a local newspaper. These forms can be completed online, or downloaded and printed.

CIL Forms

Most planning applications require a ‘CIL Form 1: Additional Information’ to be submitted before validation.
