Holmwoods and Beare Green Ward of Mole Valley District Council

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that due to the resignation of Councillor Clayton Wellman, a casual vacancy has arisen in the Office of Councillor for the above Ward.

An election will be held if TWO electors within the district ward request, in writing, that the Proper Officer commence the procedure to hold an election to fill the vacancy.

All requests for a by-election regarding this casual vacancy must be sent to The Returning Officer, Electoral Services, Council Offices, Pippbrook, Dorking, Surrey, RH4 1SJ.

On receipt of the request to fill the vacancy with an election, the Returning Officer will set a date for an election to be held within 35 days (excluding weekends and bank holidays).
