Biography

Bridget has been a Leatherhead councillor since May 2016. She has served on Licensing, Development Management and various working groups.

From 2019- 2020 Bridget undertook the Finance Cabinet portfolio, ensuring budgets were balanced and reserves protected during Covid and financially tough times after.

Bridget became leader in May 2025 with a remit to ensure a smooth transition of community assets and service to the new East Surrey Unitary, while delivering on our Annual Plan.

Bridget is a Chief Marketing Officer for a global commodities company in her professional life and she lives in Leatherhead with her husband and son, while her Dad lives in Dorking.
