Residents’ Health and Wellbeing

Surrey County Council has a range of health and welfare information.

Living healthy lives

We are keen to encourage everyone to lead active, healthy lives. Many of the services we offer have this in mind.

From our leisure services, offering you parks, open spaces, leisure and sporting facilities through to the work our environmental health teams do to ensure the places you eat out at are hygienic, we have everyone’s health and wellbeing at heart.

You will find more about the services we offer throughout our website, including our Community Support services which can help people remain independent for longer.

If you are interested in doing more to make sure you eat well, move more and live longer, the Change4Life or NHS Choices websites have practical advice.

Mental health services for children and young people

For information and support for children and young people with mental health problems and learning disabilities, and their carers, visit Mindsight Surrey CAMHS.

Referrals to the services can be made by health, education and social care practitioners. Appointments can be booked by calling  0300 222 5755.
