Welfare Funeral Information

Freedom of Information (FOI) requests have shown that there is a demand for a variety of data in relation to welfare funerals that we have conducted or hold information on.

If held, the following information is published in Excel format:

• Name of the deceased
• Date of death
• Place of death
• Date of birth or age at death
• Place of birth
• Marital status
• Maiden name (if applicable)
• Last known address
• Estimated value of estate
• Any next of kin
• Passed to Treasurer
• Cost of Funeral
• Burial or cremation
• Date of funeral

We review this page once every three months. The information was last updated in February 2024 so it will next be reviewed in May 2024.
