Biography
Bridget was elected Leader of Mole Valley District Council in May 2025, bringing with her years of dedication and experience. Since 2019, she has served as Cabinet Member for Finance, guiding the council through some of its most challenging times.
A proud Leatherhead councillor, Bridget first represented Leatherhead North and, following boundary changes in 2023, continues to champion the Southern ward. Living in the heart of the town, she is deeply committed to making Leatherhead a vibrant, welcoming place to live and work. Improving facilities for residents isn’t just a goal for Bridget – it’s a passion.
As Cabinet Member for Finance, Bridget steered the council through the pandemic and the cost-of-living crisis, safeguarding essential services while delivering savings of over £1.4 million in just two years. Her leadership ensured stability when it mattered most.
Beyond her council role, Bridget is Chief Marketing Officer for a global data analytics company helping the metals and mining sector become more sustainable. Like many, she juggles work, family, and caring responsibilities for her husband, son, and father—a perspective that shapes her understanding of the challenges residents face every day.
When she finds time for herself, Bridget loves escaping into science fiction, walking the family dog, cycling through Mole Valley’s stunning countryside, and travelling with her family to Ireland, Italy, and France.
