Mole Valley Access Group Accessibility Scheme
Mole Valley Access Group is an independent organisation supported by Mole Valley District Council that strives to ensure residents and visitors to Mole Valley, who have disabilities find their time in the district to be as accessible as possible.
Mole Valley Access Group meets bi monthly to address issues relevant to people with disabilities. We encourage people to approach us with queries or advice. For more information contact firstname.lastname@example.org
The Access Group runs a scheme in order to recognise the efforts businesses go to in order to make their premises more accessible.
To get involved, download and complete the Access Visit Checklist form and return it to Councillor Paul Elderton, Mole Valley District Council, Pippbrook, Dorking, Surrey, RH4 1SJ.
The form allows you to state clearly what facilities your business has and gives you an idea of the facilities you may like to install to become more accessible.
A member of the Mole Valley Access Group will verify your form and, if you are successful, awarded a sticker for your window. There will be a 'Good Access' sticker for those who meet all the criteria and a 'Happy to Help' sticker for those who do as much as they can but have restrictions because of circumstances beyond their control.
As the scheme develops, the businesses and their accessible features will be listed online, so people with disabilities will be able to plan where they go in Mole Valley in advance. Mole Valley is a wonderful place to live and visit and Mole Valley Access Group wants to make sure this is so for everyone.
