Help Page

Help with navigating and using this site.

At the top of every page (Purple Bar) you will find the menu items which are of particular importance to the site as a whole. The top menu items link to the 2nd level (Green Bar) which contain departmental and general information for many Council services.

At the top centre just below the menu bar there is a "YOU ARE IN:" trail, so you can see the path you have followed to reach your current position within the site. This feature can be used to revisit previous pages, rather than using your back button in the browser.

On the left hand side additional navigation will appear as you work through the site and enter lower levels.

Links in the body text of a page may be used to direct you to relevant internal or external pages. These are always underlined and sometimes appear in bold.

The search facility allows a keyword to be entered and the whole of this site to be searched. Clicking on the returned list of articles will take you to the full page of information on the site.
