Visiting Mole Valley

The Arts Alive Festival takes place in Mole Valley. Taking its name from the River Mole, the district of Mole Valley contains some of the most beautiful countryside in the South of England. It is a Green Belt area with extensive areas of outstanding natural beauty and great landscape value, including well-known beauty spots such as Box Hill and Leith Hill. One of the most attractive features of Mole Valley is its many villages and the two main towns of Leatherhead and Dorking. Most of these have historic centres and are designated Conservation Areas. Each has its own charm.
