Ahead of the exciting playground refurbishment at Chart Downs scheduled for this summer, Mole Valley District Council is, following an initial consultation in March, once again asking for the opinions of residents and children to choose their favourite from the three shortlisted designs available and help shape play provision for the area.

The three designs will be available to view in the reception area of the Council offices in Pippbrook, Dorking and online from Friday 8th until Monday 18th April at www.molevalleyviewpoint.co.uk. Once a favourite has been selected, residents are free to email comments and their preferred choice to tony.wynn@molevalley.gov.uk.

The votes submitted via this consultation will then be considered alongside Mole Valley District Council’s own decision process to select the best play facility for the site. The chosen design will be revealed around Easter and the onsite work is scheduled to begin in early June, giving it every chance of being completed ahead of the summer holiday break.

We hope that this consultation will help ensure that the best design is chosen and the playground will be enjoyed by children and families for many years to come.”
