The District Council is undertaking a consultation on a document with significant implications for the Leatherhead Conservation Area. The views of the public, especially those who live or work within the Leatherhead Conservation Area, are being requested.
Comments on the document can be made online up to Monday 8th February.

The Council is working in a number of areas to improve the ways in which people can access what we do. Part of that is by ensuring that there are no barriers to accessing either our services or employment opportunities, because of their age, gender, race, religion, sexuality or disability. To set a framework for this, we have published a Single Equality Scheme for a 12 week consultation period.
This draft Scheme sets out the work that the Council will do in the period to 2013 to review how accessible services are and improve its understanding of different people in Mole Valley.
We are aiming to get as many organisations, groups and individuals as possible to comment on the scheme, and if you have any views, please email policy@molevalley.gov.uk
The consultation is running through to Friday 15 January 2010 and if there is anything relating to the consultation that you would like to discuss please contact Linda Oladokun on 01306 879294.
