Housing Allocations We need your views on the best way to prioritise people on our housing register waiting for a housing association home. We currently prioritise people on the wating list using a points scheme. We would like your views on changing this to a banding scheme. Q1 Please choose the scheme you think we should use. Points Scheme: Points are given for a number of housing needs factors. These are added together and the person with the highest number of points is more likely to be offered available housing association homes. We do not give points for the amount of time someone has been waiting please tick your prefered scheme   Banding Scheme: A banding scheme would catogrise people according to their level of need into a band. People in each band will be moved up within the band the longer they are on the waiting list.
