Mole Valley District Council runs a fortnightly garden waste collection service which offers residents an easy and convenient way to recycle all year round.
Once you have completed and returned the Garden Waste Order Form and Garden Waste Direct Debit Mandate, a brown lid wheeled bin will be delivered to you ready to use.
The council will separately send you information on your first and ongoing collection day.
The collection service operates all year round on a fortnightly basis. Your wheeled bin(s) need to be placed at the edge of your property by 6.30am on the day of your collection.
Only garden waste contained within the wheeled bin will be collected, so you must hire extra bins if there is excess waste.
The annual cost for hiring and collection of the bin is £47 per wheeled bin. Residents can hire a maximum of three wheeled bins per household.
The garden waste is emptied into a dedicated vehicle and then sent to a local facility to be shredded and recycled into compost to be used as a soil improver.
Please download and print both the 'Garden Waste Leaflet Order Form' and 'Garden Waste Direct Debit Mandate' and return them to: Garden Waste Service, Mole Valley DC, Pippbrook, Dorking, Surrey, RH4 1SJ.
