Recycling Locations and Details

A few things to remember when using our recycling sites

• Try to avoid making a special trip to the Recycling Site in your car. Combine your trips with other journeys; extra journeys mean wasted energy.
• Remember that sheet glass, Pyrex, drinking glasses and crockery cannot be placed in the glass recycling banks because they will contaminate the load, making it useless for recycling.
• Mixed paper and cardboard can ONLY be put in the large green SITA banks at Reigate Road Dorking, Tesco at Hookwood, Randalls Road in Leatherhead and Peace Memorial Hall in Ashtead.  These items can also be placed in your Green recycling bin.
• Paper and Can banks have now been removed from the Recycling sites.  These items can be placed in your green bin / clear sack to be recycled.
