From the first week in September work will begin on the first phase of refurbishment to the Swan Shopping Centre, Leatherhead as part of Transform Leatherhead.
This first phase will see the refurbishment of the public toilets and provision of new baby changing facilities, and begin works to make the car-park more user-friendly.
Between Thursday 12 July and Friday 27 July 2018 residents, business owners, employees and stakeholders in Leatherhead are invited to take part in the first stage of consultation on the early proposals for the redevelopment of Claire House and James House, Leatherhead.

The pirate-themed playground by Kompan and skate park from CANVAS are the two new play features to be built in Kingston Road Recreation Ground in Leatherhead this summer. Kompan, the play company behind the hugely popular Meadowbank Playground, will begin work in the first week in July 2018.
Between 18 and 24 June Transform Leatherhead's transport consultants will begin surveys in Leatherhead to map current traffic flow and car park use. The data gathered will inform the development of a transport simulation model for Leatherhead.
