District Elections: 3 May 2018

Mole Valley District Council is composed of 41 councillors and elections are held by thirds, which means that one third of the seats are subject to re-election in each of three successive years, with County Council elections held every fourth year.

The next scheduled District Elections are on Thursday 3 May for the following wards:

  • Ashtead Common
  • Ashtead Park
  • Ashtead Village
  • Bookham North
  • Bookham South
  • Brockham, Betchworth & Buckland
  • Capel, Leigh & Newdigate
  • Dorking North
  • Dorking South
  • Fetcham East
  • Fetcham West
  • Holmwoods
  • Leatherhead North
  • Leatherhead South

Registration deadlines

The deadline to register to vote and to apply for a postal vote has now passed.

To apply to appoint a Proxy the deadlines are:

  • Proxy Vote applications must be received by 5pm on Wednesday 25 April 2018

Please return your completed absent form to: Electoral Services, MVDC, Pippbrook, Dorking RH4 1SJ, or email a scan of your completed form to electoral.registration@molevalley.gov.uk

If you will be away from your local area due to unforeseen work reasons on election day or have a medical emergency after the closing date for a proxy application, you are able to apply for an emergency proxy which can be requested at any time up until 5pm on polling day.
