Panto Time at Dorking Halls
Set your alarm clocks early for Dorking Halls' much-anticipated panto Sleeping Beauty, this year starring X-Factor finalist and Celebrity Big Brother's Christopher Maloney and Emmerdale's enchanting Gemma Oaten.
Expect plenty of fun, laughter and audience participation. Packed with sensational songs, dazzling dance routines, spectacular sets and fabulous costumes, this is a tremendous treat for all the family.
The witty but romantic Prince Joseph is good fit for the dashing Christopher Maloney. "I'm really looking forward to it!," says Maloney.
"The cast are great, and so is the script." The recording artist and actor is loved by many for his exceptional singing voice, and he assures theatregoers that he will be using it to belt out some brilliant songs during the show.
Gemma Oaten, who plays the Wicked Fairy Carabosse, said "I was chortling my socks off when I first read the script." The lovely Gemma may struggle to play such an evil character, but she'll give it her best shot.
Producer Jezz Weatherall said: "It's going to be great fun for all the family. Sleeping Beauty is one of the most magical pantomimes of them all and also one of the funniest. We probably have the most talented panto cast ever at Dorking Halls this December. It's going to be absolutely hilarious. Oh yes it will!"
Sleeping Beauty is on at Dorking Halls from 16 - 28 December. Book tickets at www.dorkinghalls.co.uk or call the Box Office on 01306 881717.
