Support and advice is available for people who are sleeping rough, or whose home is very insecure or temporary, so that they can find a suitable place to live.
Are you a rough sleeper?
If you are sleeping rough and have nowhere to stay, our Housing Options team will be able to advise you on finding somewhere to sleep for the night; assisting you to look for longer term accommodation and connecting you with local support services, if needed.
Please call us on 01306 885001 and ask to speak to a Housing Options Officer. If you need to come and see us, we can make an appointment for you. These are available from 9am until 4pm, Monday to Friday. It is not possible to arrange an appointment between 12pm and 2pm.
Do you know someone who is sleeping rough?
If you're concerned about someone sleeping rough, get in touch so that we can connect them to local support and services they need. You can report sightings of rough sleepers using StreetLink.
East Surrey Outreach Support Service (e.S.O.S.)
This service provides help and support to those rough sleeping and those at risk of rough sleeping. They can offer one-to-one support to help you find a suitable place to live and assist you in connecting with other support agencies. They will also seek to reconnect people with the areas where they have a local connection.
If you think that you would benefit from working with e.S.O.S. you can be referred by any services you are already working with or contact them directly on 07436 273614 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
