Mole Valley District Council is required to monitor the progress made on the preparation and implementation of the Local Plan through an Authority Monitoring Report.

Authority Monitoring Repot

A report covering the period April 2015 - March 2016 and April 2016 - March 2017 has been completed and is available to view (see 'Downloads'). The report covers:

  • the progress on the production of documents in the Local Development Scheme (LDS); and
  • the monitoring of a framework of indicators including the number of dwellings completed, affordable housing and the delivery of land developed for employment purposes.

The latest LDS 2017-2019 sets out the programme for producing a new Local Plan for Mole Valley (Future Mole Valley). It includes a timetable for the key stages (including consultation periods).

Five Year Housing Land Supply

The National Planning Policy Framework (Paragraph 47) states that local planning authorities should update annually a supply of specific deliverable sites sufficient to provide five years' worth of housing against requirements.

A copy of the Five Year Housing Land Supply Statement 2017-2022 is available (see 'Downloads').
