Caroline was the elected Holmwoods Mole Valley District Councillor for 12 years, Chairman of Planning for 3 and Chairman of the Council 2012-13. Her legacy is the 2012 Cycle Race Sculpture put up with community support on Denbies roundabout. In 2014 Caroline stood down to focus on being President of the Dorking Chamber of Commerce and concentrate on her WOW Gallery business.

Caroline is a free thinker and active person - who finds routes to get things done quickly and effectively.

Her first degree was 3D design specialising in Craft Ceramics and Weaving. In 2001 she completed a Msc in Environmental Psychology. The latter and a desire to increase waste recycling was why she first stood at Mole Valley District Council in the Holmwoods seat, only leaving to focus on The WOW Gallery and be President of the Dorking Chamber of Commerce.

Caroline was a founder member of Dorking Needs Action, a SEEDA funded Market Town Healthcheck. She put on a Dorking Business Show & Seminars for 2 years, which introduced Social Media to local business and the Council.

She was employed in retail, hotels, PR and marketing before becoming a self-employed business consultant, specialising in start-up training, business mentoring and personal development. Caroline was SE Regional Development Manager for PRIME (the Princes Initiative for Mature Enterprise) encouraging start-up particularly for the 50+. She was funded by SEEDA, worked on their EU funded Exodus Project and delivered training across their Gateways (including Gatwick Diamond) and Job Centres. She then set up her own business at 50+!

In 2019 she returned to Mole Valley as the District Councillor to the village where she has lived for over 20 years.
