Leith Hill Musical Festival

Leith Hill Musical Festival has been held annually in Dorking since 1905 and has grown into one of the country's leading choral events. From the beginning and for nearly 50 years, the festival conductor was the world famous composer Ralph Vaughan Williams.

Leatherhead Drama Festival

Leatherhead Theatre

The Leatherhead Drama Festival is possibly the biggest and most successful amateur drama festivals in the UK. It comprises a two-week competition featuring both junior and adult drama groups.

June

Surrey Artists Open Studios

Venues throughout Mole Valley and Surrey

Surrey Artists Open Studios, supported by Mole Valley District Council, offers a unique experience allowing the public to visit hundreds of Surrey artists in their studio spaces. Artists will be showcasing their working practice and demonstrating their creative techniques.

Studios are located across Surrey where there is such a diverse variety of work including print-making, jewellery, ceramics, textiles, painting, wood-turning, sculpture, illustration and glass work.

Charlwood Music Festival 

Charlwood Music Festival showcases local musical talent to their community and their family, friends and visitors to the Charlwood village.

Capel Music Festival

Founded in 2008, this is a charity fundraising music festival in the centre of the community hosting a variety of well known local bands and artists.

Surrey Mini Bluegrass Festival

This festival aims to introduce bluegrass music to Surrey. It is a small friendly non-profit festival where people can enjoy bluegrass music. It is a place to relax, meet new people, or meet up with old friends and listen to the music in a lovely location.

October

Arts Alive

Arts Alive is launched in mid September and is run through the whole of October. It features dance, music, drama, arts, crafts, poetry, comedy and performance.
