Corporate Strategy

The Corporate Strategy shapes the work of Mole Valley District Council (MVDC) and sets out its corporate priorities.

Corporate Strategy 2015-19

MVDC's vision and priorities are set out in the Corporate Strategy 2015 - 19. The strategy also includes three guiding principles, which guide our approach to decision-making.

The strategy was developed alongside the budget setting process, and involved a comprehensive programme of research, consultation and analysis.

A number of stakeholder events were held, and a 'Have Your Say' survey was promoted over a six-week period in October and November 2014 to obtain views from a cross-section of individuals and organisations interested in the future of Mole Valley.

Council Strategy 2019-24

MVDC is currently developing its Council Strategy for 2019-24, as the current strategy is coming to an end. This will set out the priorities and aims for the organisation for the next five years. As part of the development we conducted a consultation in September and October 2018 to gain feedback on the draft strategy. The consultation ended on 19th October and we are now developing the final draft, including a new design, which will be going to Scrutiny Committee in January, followed by Cabinet and concluding at Full Council on 12th February 2019.
