Rural Mole Valley Business? We Need Your Views!

If you are a rural Mole Valley business we need your views to inform our 2018 Rural Community Summit.

This autumn, Mole Valley District Council will be holding a Rural Community Summit focussing on how it can work better with rural businesses to tackle the challenges they face.  Mole Valley's rural areas face a range of issues that are unique to living and working in the countryside as well as those common in other more built up areas of the district.  A short survey has been released to ensure the Summit covers topics that rural businesses are keen to discuss.

The survey is available at until Tuesday 28th August at 5pm.  Findings will be used to shape the timing and content of the Summit.

Councillor Corinna Osborne-Patterson, Cabinet Member for People and Rural Mole Valley said, "This initiative is part of the Rural Community Strategy adopted in 2017 aimed at supporting rural communities.  This, the first Annual Rural Community Summit, will focus specifically on rural businesses' challenges.  The summit will also provide an opportunity to share progress made since the strategy was first adopted."

"The outputs from the Summit will be used to shape the rural based business element of the Rural Community Strategy Action Plan for 2019 - 20. Please do take 5 minutes to complete the survey."
