Revenue Grants

Mole Valley District Council (MVDC) provides revenue funding to organisations which play a significant role in helping to meet its wellbeing priorities. Revenue grant applications are considered on a three-year cycle. The next application period will be between 1 April 2022 and 30 September 2022.

Organisations receiving funding in 2019/20

Citizen's Advice Mole Valley - £100,000

  • To support provision of free advice service for everyone living and working in Mole Valley

East Surrey Domestic Abuse Service - £11,500

  • To provide specialist domestic abuse outreach services to Mole Valley residents and to manage the 'Sanctuary Scheme' within Mole Valley

Voluntary Action Mid Surrey - £10,000

  • To resource on-going core work as a community and voluntary support service with integrated volunteer centre

Christmas Activities

MVDC provides a contribution towards Christmas lights and activities in town centres across the district, including Dorking, Leatherhead, Ashtead, Bookham and Fetcham.

Closed Churchyards

MVDC provides funding for the maintenance of Churchyards which are closed to burials, including those at St. Nicholas, Great Bookham, St. Margaret's, Ockley, St. John's Chapel and Holy Trinity Church, Westcott, and St. Martin's Church, Dorking.
