Grants Available To Assist Your Cause
Did you know that Mole Valley District Council runs a Grants Scheme, offering funding to eligible groups across Mole Valley?
Mole Valley District Council offers a variety of grants and funding opportunities for groups across the District, supporting their work within the community. Applications are considered from organisations that deliver valuable services to Mole Valley residents and support the Council's priorities.
The range of funds include the Small Grants Community Fund, The Capital Fund and the Thomas Flack Trust Fund.
Councillor Lucy Botting, Executive Member for Wellbeing said, "We want to hear from those small, local organisations that are making a difference in our communities, so do contact us if you would like to talk through eligibility and the criteria for these. In 2017/18 we funded awards that will have a real impact on our community, including those involving family support and emergency medical care.
"Applicants that show they have community support and they are willing to work collaboratively with other agencies, organisations and individuals will be given priority. Those groups who are looking to raise funding through as many sources as possible or can demonstrate that a grant will help to attract or unlock funding from other sources will also have a head start.
"For 2018/2019 there is £38,500 in the Small Grants Community Fund to distribute and we encourage everyone who thinks they might be eligible to get in touch with us to talk it through and find out more."
Priority will be given to organisations which show they will deliver improvements in at least one of the Council strategy priority areas; Prosperity, Environment and Wellbeing. More details on these can be found on the Mole Valley website.
Each fund has its own specific criteria and individuals are encouraged to contact the Mole Valley Grants Team to discuss an application prior to submission or pre-check a submission. They can be contacted via telephone on 01306 879338 or by email email@example.com.
