Residents' Health and Wellbeing

Surrey County Council (SCC), with support from Mole Valley District Council (MVDC) (and the other districts and boroughs) has new responsibilities for public health.

You can also find a range of information, useful links and downloads about social care and health on the SCC website.

If you have caring responsibilities, or know someone who might need more information, please see our Care and Support for Adults web page. Further useful information can also be found on our Community Support pages and a list of useful contacts can be downloaded on this page.

Living Healthy Lives

MVDC is keen to encourage everyone in the district to lead active, healthy lives. Many of the services we offer have this in mind. From our leisure services, offering you parks, open spaces, leisure and sporting facilities through to the work our environmental health teams do to ensure the places you eat out at are hygienic, we have everyone's health and wellbeing at heart.

You will find more about the services we offer throughout our website, including our Community Support services which can help people remain independent for longer. If you are interested in doing more to make sure you eat well, move more and live longer, the Change4Life or NHS Choices websites have practical advice.
